We’re delighted to announce that Corrata has been shortlisted for a Technology Ireland Award in the category of Emerging Company of the Year. Having already won Tech Startup of the Year 2017 and having recently been shortlisted for the Startup Europe Awards, it is with great pride that we find ourselves achieving further recognition. This latest acknowledgement is particularly noteworthy as it comes from the industry body representing Ireland’s vibrant technology sector. Past winners of the Emerging Company award include LogoGrab, Brite:Bill, Aspire and Barracuda FX.
Over 65 tech companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and winners will be announced at the annual awards event on 24 November in the Mansion House, Dublin. The keynote speaker for the awards is Barry Lowry, Government CIO and MC for the evening is Darragh Maloney, Sports Broadcaster.
Director of Technology Ireland Paul Sweetman said: “The software and digital technology sector in Ireland is thriving. Year on year, stellar companies are entering the Awards and 2017 is no exception. Over 70 tech companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and it is the tireless efforts of all in these companies that bring Ireland to the fore of the global technology sector.”
Technology Ireland
Technology Ireland is the largest and most influential business organisation representing Ireland’s tech sector. With origins dating back to 1968, the association was formed in 2017 by the merger of ICT Ireland and the Irish Software Association. Their membership is made up of the leading Irish-owned and FDI players in the Irish technology sector. Their network is structured around a series of core working groups, member forums and networking events, all of which are the primary enablers of our strategy.
